Answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:
Where is your store?
We are an online-only cupcake business. All orders are baked to order the day you pick them up, which is why we have a minimum of 1 dozen per flavor. Nothing is ever frozen or made in advance.
Can we mix multiple flavors in one dozen?
The general answer is no. The minimum I can make per flavor is one dozen or I lose money. And I don't like losing money! Surely you understand that. If I have other orders we can pull from it's sometimes possible to mix, but only if the flavors you want are already being baked that same day. Email and ask - I'll see what I can do!
Do you do weddings and what are the prices?
I love weddings! There is no price difference for weddings unless you want additional customization (special cupcake wrappers, decorated stand, etc). If you want the standard decoration the price is exactly what you see on the website (plus charges for setup and delivery, if you need these services).
o you make vegan/dairy-free/gluten-free/allergen-free or anything else similar?
At this time I do not offer any cupcakes that would fit into the category of special dietary needs.
Can you make the cupcakes into a Cars theme or in the shape of a crown for my child's birthday?
I'm sorry, but I cannot. I concentrate on the taste of the cupcakes, and since I'm not an artist (just a great baker!) I cannot sculpt your child's face or make your cupcakes into a boat.
Do you make cakes, too?
The basic answer is no. Again, I'm not an amazing decorator so I stick to what I do well - and that's great tasting cupcakes! If you are a repeat customer and absolutely insist on a cake I might be persuaded, but there will be a lot of disclaimers put on it before I agree!
Can you color the icing for our party?
Absolutely not. I can do my best to help customize to your event colors through cupcake wrappers (possible additional charge, see below) or through colored sprinkles, but I do not color icing. The reason is simple - adding food coloring to our frosting gives it a chemical-like taste that I feel ruins the flavor of the icing and that is just unacceptable for me.
Can we buy customized cupcake wrappers for you to use for our cupcakes?
Yes and no. I only use foil cupcake liners, as I find they hold up best for our super moist cupcakes. The standard pricing includes pink wrappers (our standard, of course!) or I can also do silver for you upon request at no extra charge. If you would like another color I can certainly try to find them for you, but will have to charge you for them. I don't mark up the price, just pass the actual cost on to you.
Do you deliver?
Absolutely! Delivery charges can be found on the order page and are based on actual distance from me. It is your responsibility to make sure the delivery time we agree on will work for the recipient. It gets mighty hot in Atlanta and I hate having to leave an order at the door!
Can you ship cupcakes?
We've tried...oh, we've tried so many times. Trust me - you don't want to pay the ridiculous shipping prices only to have your special gift arrive looking like the FedEx guy jumped on the box! So, no. I definitely cannot ship.
Can I request a flavor that isn't on your menu?
Absolutely! I'll try anything you want, but the price may change depending on how crazy you get. Just email me and we'll work it out.
What's the best way to contact you?
Sadly, I work a full-time job in addition to making delicious cupcakes. In order to ensure I get that deposit every two weeks I have to give a lot of my attention to my corporate job. By far the easiest way to reach me is by email to pinkcupcakedreams@gmail.com - I respond to emails much more quickly than phone calls. You can also text me. Texts and emails are answered usually within a couple hours, while voicemails are often not answered until much later.
Will you donate cupcakes to our event?
I am no longer offering cupcake donations for non-profit events. But you can certainly email me to ask - if it's a cause I'm personally attached to and I'm available I may just say yes.
We do not offer any donations to for-profit events. If you're making money, we should be, too.
